WIGHTLINK CANCEL AT LEAST 3 SAILINGS DUE TO MECHNICAL ISSUES


Wightlink have cancelled at least 3 sailings on their Yarmouth-Lymington route this morning (Friday) as a result of mechanical issues.

The cross-Solent operator have confirmed that the 11:00 sailing from Lymington has been pulled, alongside the 10:05 and 12:05 sailings.

It is unknown at this stage if there will be any further cancellations throughout the day.

Meanwhile, Red Funnel’s East Cowes-Southampton route is running with delays of between 30 and 90 minutes due to an earlier technical issue. However, the company anticipate that their service will return to timetable from midday.

Hovertravel have cancelled their service between Ryde and Southsea due to the adverse weather conditions.
