Firefighters are tending to the occupant of a property in Ryde as a result of a washing machine fire.
1 appliance from Ryde is in attendance on the High Street having been mobilised at 18:23.
Island Echo is told that the fire was out upon arrival of the first appliance.
First aid is now being administered at least 1 person.
The High Street is currently blocked between St John’s Road and Hill Street.
