Firefighters were called to reports of a tumble dryer fire at a property in Shanklin yesterday afternoon (Thursday).
2 appliances from Shanklin and Ventnor were mobilised to Magnum Hall off Howard Road at around 14:15.
Upon arrival at the scene, it was discovered that a tumble dryer had overheated. The mains had already been isolated.
Firefighters removed the appliance from the kitchen of the property.
