Snowdon House in Shanklin is the only Isle of Wight business to be recognised for its outstanding service with a VisitEngland ROSE Award in 2024.
The ROSE Award recognises businesses that go that extra step from offering a warm welcome to providing so much more.
Sally Beston from Snowdon House, who runs the beloved destination with husband Michael, said:
“We are both extremely proud to receive the ROSE Award 2024, and we thank all our customers who have recommended our hospitality services.
“We have welcomed guests into the Snowdon House for nearly 25 years, and when you have a vocation that you thoroughly enjoy and makes you smile every day, it gives you great satisfaction and pleasure to be part of the tourism industry”.
Sally cites the popular breakfasts as well as their detailed knowledge of the area and their willingness to recommend local businesses as places to visit and eat.
In 2023 Inglewood Guest House and the Dairy Barn in Wroxall were recognised for their efforts, joining 2022 alumni The Old Mill in Brighstone.
