A 37-year-old man from Ryde has been charged with criminal damage and has been remanded in custody following an incident in Shanklin during the early hours of Saturday morning.
Police were called shortly before 03:50 yesterday to a report of a domestic incident taking place on Sandown Road, near to Wiltons Garage.
Officers attended and arrested a 37-year-old man from Ryde on suspicion of harassment.
Now, it has been confirmed that Joseph Russell Long, of William Street in Ryde, has been changed with criminal damage.
He has been remanded in custody to appear before Portsmouth Magistrates Court on Monday.
