Red Funnel has confirmed a number of cancellations on it’s hi-speed Red Jet service tomorrow morning (Friday).
A fuel pressure issue on Red Jet 7 means that a commuters face disruption at the end of the working week, from both sides of the Solent.
The 06:15, 07:35 and 08:55 sailings from Southampton have been cancelled alongside the 06:55, 08:15 and 09:35 sailings from West Cowes.
Red Funnel apologises for any inconvenience caused to your journey.
Not good enough. Three boats and cant run a service. They should be fined
And so it continues…. while the MP does nothing but protect the ferry companies from competition.
The answer to these problems is just one thing possible:
SolentFreedomTunnel.co.uk
Our great MP does little to nothing for the Island.
All promises no results!
he should go
Carl Maybe you can continue your fight now for a tunnel your deigne was brill ,we have to now consider our siblings
Same old same old. All the ferry companies need to be brought under some kind of licenced performance scheme/regulation whereby they are heavily fined or lose the licence to operate for avoidable delays/lack of service. These are not leisure cruises – people’s livelihoods depend on the these services and they are therefore critical. This has to stop.
I do genuinely and honestly sympathise with all the comments on this subject.
But, at the end of the day, we chose or were born to live on an island.
You get the benefits and you get the negatives.
You can’t have your cake and eat it.
That little bit of water is what protects us from the mainland’s crime ridden multi cultural society.
Sure, we have scumbags here,
But they are our scumbags.
Technically there rubbish ha ha
