Red Jet and Hovertravel services have been suspended this morning (Tuesday) owing to the adverse weather conditions.
Red Funnel’s Red Jet service between West Cowes and Southampton is not operating until further notice, with passengers advised to travel on the vehicle ferry to/from East Cowes instead.
Hovertravel are not operating their Ryde-Southsea service but tickets are being accepted on Wightlink’s Fastcat.
With the adverse weather set to last throughout Tuesday, it’s unclear when services are likely to resume for both operators.
UPDATE @ 08:19 – Island Line services are also suspended this morning due to debris on the track. An update is expected by 10:00.
Both Red Jet and Hovertravel services remain suspended.
UPDATE @ 09:10 – Red Jets are to resume at 09:35 from West Cowes and 10:20 from Southampton.
UPDATE @ 12:38 – Island Line trains have now resumed but to an hourly timetable.
UPDATE @ 15:31 – Hovertravel services are to resume at 15:45 from Ryde and 16:00 from Southsea.
