Priory School’s equestrian teams claimed top honours at the Interschools Dressage Competition hosted at Little Kennerley Farm in Godshill last month (Thursday 18th June).
A total of 7 Priory School pupils took part in the event, which resulted in the Priory A Team claiming overall victory while the Priory B Team secured 3rd place.
Priory A was made up of Bella Myles, Bella White, Chloe Tapp and Connie Stockley. Priory B comprised Eleanor Maart, Ella Brown and Elsa Burch.
The individual rankings also reflected the team’s strength, with Connie Stockley taking 1st place overall. Bella Myles finished 3rd, Ella Brown was 4th and Chloe Tapp came in 5th position. The other riders all contributed valuable points towards their team standings.
Miss Rowdon, Priory School, has said:
“We are all very proud of our riders and are so delighted for the girls, they were a pleasure to watch riding, and their skills and talent were very impressive.
“On the back of such a success, we are now hoping to join the National Schools Equestrian Association and compete in national events on the mainland.”
Well done has been extended to all Priory riders and their horses, with thanks also given to parents and coaches for their support at the event.
