Hundreds of homes and businesses in Shanklin are without power this morning (Wednesday) to a high voltage network fault.
Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks say they are aware of the issue, which is affecting a total of 63 postcodes in the PO36 and PO37 areas. It’s thought over 900 properties have been affected.
EE customers are reporting that they have lost mobile signal in the Shanklin area.
Engineers are en-route to investigate the cause of the power outage and it is estimated that supplies will be restored by midday.
