POLICE SEEK TO TRACE VAN AFTER COPPER THEFT

Police are asking Islanders if they recognise a tipper van following the theft of 2 copper water tanks from a farm in Brighstone.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who saw the van (pictured above) in the Military Road area of Brighstone at around 14:30 on Monday (8th April).

It is hoped that the driver of the tipper – thought to be a Ford Transit – may be able to tell Police what happened.

hope they catch them but it would help if the reg. no. was shown. if we had more police out and about then this wouldn’t happen anyway. not enough police.
