Police on the Isle of Wight have executed a search warrant at an address in Newport this morning (Monday).
A large number of officers descended on Albany Road off Hunnyhill early this morning and gained access to a terraced property.
Over the past few hours a search of the address has been taking place with sniffer dogs present.
UPDATE @ 12:45 – Hampshire Constabulary have confirmed that a 46-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a class A drug. He has also been arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods.
He has been taken into custody at Newport Police Station.
