Cowes RNLI lifeboat and Bembridge Coastguard Rescue Team were called to reports of persons in the water off Cowes last night (Wednesday).
2 passengers on a jet ski realised something was wrong with their pleasure craft as they left Cowes Harbour.
The ski appeared to be sinking and the 2 men came off and entered the water.
Thankfully, assistance was quickly on the scene in the form of Cowes RNLI and both the crew and the jet ski were taken to Trinity Landing where Coastguard Officers were standing by.
The Southampton-based casualties were dropped off at Red Funnel’s terminal with the cross-Solent operator kindly arranging transport back to the mainland for the jet skiers.
