Concerns for the welfare of a high risk missing person led to a search being launched in Shanklin during the early hours of this morning (Sunday).
Police received information late last night about a missing girl.
A search was soon launched and at just gone midnight the assistance of WightSAR – the Island’s search and rescue team – was requested.
Thankfully, the person was successfully located and the search was stood down within just 3 hours.



























































































Where do these ‘high risk’ disappear off to? People are out searching for them, then they are found safe and well……..3 hours later!
