The business, Wight Sushi, will launch later today at a bespoke event at the corporate events space of Wight Karting in Ryde.
Wight Sushi offers a new take on a traditional Japanese classic; using smoked salmon, avocado and cheese as substitutes for raw fish in a wide range of dishes which will be on display on Tuesday. From Prawn Sushi Maki through to Alaska Sushi rolls and a Smoked Salmon Temaki, there’s bound to be something to delight every tastebud.
Victor Isac, Owner of Wight Sushi, said:
“We noticed a real gap in the market for Sushi here on the Island, and wanted to bring the delights of the cuisine to the Island. Wight Sushi offer a delivery service to the whole Island quickly, ensuring that the sushi comes to their door fresh and ready to eat. We’re really passionate about sushi, and have developed a range of really interesting dishes that will suit people of all appetites, allergens and taste preferences.”
Wight Sushi will serve from Sandown and have segmented the Island into different delivery areas to cater for all. They are open from 17:00 on an evening, although orders can be made via their website at any time of the day for later.
An Android mobile phone app has also been developed.
