There is a new stop smoking service provider for the Isle of Wight, aiming to make it even easier for local residents to quit for good and make smoking history across the Island.
Thrive Tribe, in partnership with the Isle of Wight Council, is the new Smokefree Island stop smoking service provider. The service will provide a range of tailored support options, including a free 12-week programme that guides people every step of the way.
Whether they prefer video sessions, in-person meetings, or phone calls, the friendly and understanding experts are there for support.
Plus, there are free quit smoking products including vapes and nicotine replacement therapy like patches, gum, and inhalators.

Increase tax on tobacco, that would be a good enough incentive to quit. This government want more cash so just do that.
What a load of b@ll@cks.
Who don’t smoke or vape on the island!
everywhere you go it looks like Havenstreet with
numpty’s blowing their sh*t everywhere.
You will not STOP numpty’s, even school children are
addicted.
Makes me wonder how do they buy them?, are shops
selling to them, or are their UNEDUCATED parents supplying
their children.
Ban the stuff. I thought the Government said children
of a certain age will NEVER be able to buy cigarettes
The Government need to get out and about and see
what really goes on!
It’s simple… Let people smoke and vape as much as they want to BUT, they have to sign a waiver stating they will not get any NHS treatment for smoking/vaping related diseases for the rest of their life. Wonder how many would not start in the first place.
They should be put at the back of the queue, what makes
me laugh many doctors and nurses go outside the
hospital and have cheeky smoking breaks.
Will they be exempt from receiving treatment in the
future!
Lol
I had a great stop smoking service, its called willpower! Man up !
Even though they have put nasty pictures on
cigarette packets showing throat cancers etc
it does not stop Numpty’s smoking.
You cannot teach a Numpty new tricks, once a
Numpty always a Numpty!
I cannot believe in 2025 all the young mums
you see pushing prams smoking or vaping
over their children.
Very worrying.
I’d like to bet your parents smoked…
