Police are trying to establish the circumstances around an incident that saw a man in his 50s sustain a head injury in Sandown yesterday evening (Friday). Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary were called at 22:08 by the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service who were treating a man in his 50s with a head injury in Hill Street. A cordon was erected at the junction with Leed Street whilst the male was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital – his injuries are not life-threatening. It’s not understood at this time how the man came to be injured, and enquiries are ongoing.

Your so right, the police are under funded and too woke, if I was very rich I would pay big strong men to parole our streets….when young feral cowards were spotted, intimidate them and if necessary give them some of their own medicine…Then the little lumps of scum would have a bit more respect.
It’s not short of middle-aged pissheads either. It’s vastly more likely that this was a self-inflicted injury, was an attack by one of his own or, was a result of his own action, than it was some random attack by some random youth.

Also he may have had some sort of fit or medical incident whereby he fell.
A passing car with insecure load could have struck him also.
Cats have been know to fall from windowsills and harm passers bye.
