A motorcyclist suffered an injured knee after coming off his bike at Shide earlier this morning (Friday).
Police and paramedics were called to Shide Road at 07:45 after receiving reports that a biker had been involved in a single vehicle incident.
The Isle of Wight Ambulance Service dispatched a paramedic crew to the scene, who treated the male at the roadside for a minor injury to his knee.
Today’s incident comes less than 24 hours after another crash involving a motorcyclist. As previously reported by Island Echo, a motorcyclist and car collided on Beaper Shute between Ryde and Brading yesterday afternoon.
Most of these young bike riders don’t wear the proper clothing tracksuit bottoms and a hoodie will not protect you if you come off and not wearing good quality gloves is a must if you come off what’s the first bit that hits the road your hands and hands are
and need to be protected damage the tendons and your hand is useless saw one yesterday over taking a line of cars . I’m not saying this chap was not suitably dressed for his bike
Surely not the same motor cyclist? Just a coincidence?
