A determined team from Mindset Bros crossed the Walk the Wight finish line together last Sunday after raising more than £2,600 for Mountbatten Hospice.
The team successfully raised an incredible £2,643 plus Gift Aid for Mountbatten Hospice – a charity that continues to provide vital care and support to families across the Island. With Gift Aid added, the final figure will climb even higher.
From the early morning start through to the final steps across the finish line, the event represented everything Mindset Bros stands for — teamwork, resilience, brotherhood and refusing to leave anyone behind.
Ross Taylor, founder of Mindset Bros
“We started as a team and we finished as a team. What an experience.
“Walk the Wight tested every single one of us physically and mentally. There were sore legs, blisters, exhaustion and moments where people really had to dig deep, but the support shown between the lads was something special to witness.
“To raise this amount of money for Mountbatten Hospice makes every single ache worth it.”
Mindset Bros has become well known across the Island for its growing Walk & Talk movement, helping men improve their mental wellbeing through community, exercise and honest conversations in a safe and supportive environment.
Following the event, many of the team are now recovering from what they jokingly describe as “career-ending blisters,” but spirits remain incredibly high after such an unforgettable achievement.
Mindset Bros would also like to thank every single person who donated, supported, encouraged, shared posts or cheered the team on throughout the challenge.
Together, the Island community continues to prove what can happen when people come together for a cause bigger than themselves.
