Delays are expected on Wightlink’s Lymington – Yarmouth car ferry as a result of an ongoing medical emergency this afternoon (Saturday).
The cross-Solent travel operator is advising of ‘unknown’ delays on the route as a result of the incident – which has occurred on Wight Sky.
Wightlink has advised that customers booked on sailings this afternoon should still check in on time as they work to make up the time that has been lost.
A spokesperson from Wightlink has said:
“We will update you on the length of the delay as soon as we can.
“We apologise for any changes to your travel plans.”
UPDATE @ 14:40 – Wightlink has announced delays of up to 90 minutes.
