The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service were called out to rescue a man from the roof of a building in Newport during the early hours of this morning (Friday).
2 fire appliances and an aerial ladder platform were mobilised to the High Street at 01:12.
The male was safely rescued and handed over to the Police, who were also in attendance at the incident.
Why was he there and what was he doing?
Most likely getting in to truble if the police were involved. More details please.
