A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital following a single vehicle crash on the outskirts of Yarmouth tonight (Thursday).
Police, the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service and a Co-Responder were called to Halletts Shute between Yarmouth and Freshwater when the rider of a bronze coloured motorcyclist came off the vehicle.
The man was treated at the scene and has since been conveyed to St Mary’s Hospital in Newport. His injuries are not life-threatening.
1 fire appliance from Freshwater was also mobilised to the scene to clear fuel from the carriageway.
The scene outside West Bay Club has now been cleared.
