By mid-afternoon the clouds had rolled in and the wind had increased, but that didn’t stop the fantastic atmosphere that has been buzzing throughout the entire Festival site since Day 1. It wasn’t long until the sun was shining once again in true Isle of Wight style.
Despite security concerns the event passed without issue with what appears to be a successful Policing operation from all involved. Extra security checks led to a few queues on Thursday, but staff and revellers alike soon got into the swing of things.
McFly’s Dougie Poynter and footballer Peter Crouch were once again seen enjoying the offerings of the Festival.
