The first quarter includes the first week of Easter, however as the Easter holidays were spread over 3 weeks, the second and third week visitor volume will be included in Quarter 2 research (1st April – 30th June).
Key findings within the report include that compared with the same time last year:
• Visitors to the Isle of Wight were up 7%
• Visitor spend was up 32%
• Overnight stays were up 5%
• Day trips were up 11%
