The Isle of Wight will see temperatures of 22c this Bank Holiday weekend, according to local forecasters IW Met Service.
Long sunny spells will be experienced across the Island as thousands of visitors and locals alike enjoy the long weekend – and there is not a single rain drop in sight!
Although tomorrow (Thursday) will be hazy at times with occasional cloud, the temperature will start to rise as the Bank Holiday approaches and temperatures may hit as high as 19-21c.
The weather will turn even better on Good Friday, which will be a much nicer day with long sunny spells and feeling fairly warm. There may be some patchy, high but thin cloud.
Saturday will be another warm day with the mercury creeping up to 22c, but closer to 16c on windward coasts. Sunday will be much the same but with slightly less wind so feeling warmer around the Isle of Wight coast.
The good weather is set to continue into the new week for Bank Holiday Monday before people return to work on Tuesday.
Jamie Russell, Chief Forecaster at IW Met Service says:
“The next few days the temperature will hit the low 20’s in many parts away from the coast and this warmth will continue throughout the weekend with long sunny spells, although it may be rather breezy at times”.
