Ryde youngster Reggie Woodmore has secured a JDC (Junior Darts Corporation) Advanced Tour Card.
The 15-year-old, known as ‘Reg the Ledge’, delivered the breakthrough across 4 tournaments in 2 days against a huge 155-player field, where just 17 tour cards were available.
Only 4 cards went automatically to event winners, leaving the remaining places to be decided by Order of Merit points – a test of consistency rather than one-off brilliance.
The Ryde teenager set the tone on Day 1 by reaching the quarter-finals in event 1 with a series of strong wins, before losing 4-2 to eventual winner Harley Glycos. Another run in event 2 followed, adding 3 crucial points to keep him firmly in contention.
Day 2 demanded composure as the leaderboard tightened – and he responded. A last-16 finish in event 4 added a further 4 points, enough to secure a top-13 place overall.
That finish confirmed the JDC Advanced Tour Card for 2026 and also booked his place at the JDC World Championships in Gibraltar this November.

His father, Stuart, paid tribute to the scale of the achievement:
“It’s a massive achievement. The first Isle of Wight youth player to win a JDC Advanced Tour Card – which means he’s now classed as one of the best 64 youth players in the world aged 10–17. It’s been a mental whirlwind!”
