The Isle of Wight has proudly earned its spot as one of the Top 10 Best Islands in the UK in the highly esteemed Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards 2024.
This recognition comes directly from the magazine’s global readers, who vote for their favourite travel experiences, covering everything from destinations and hotels to Islands and cruise lines.
Condé Nast Traveller’s Readers’ Choice Awards are highly regarded within the travel industry, with seasoned travellers offering their recommendations on the finest places to visit. Will Myles, Managing Director of Visit Isle of Wight, says:
“We are absolutely thrilled to receive this prestigious award. It’s a testament to the Island’s natural beauty and the unforgettable experiences we offer all year round. The fact that this award comes directly from travellers themselves makes it even more special. Whether you’re seeking outdoor adventure, family fun, or a peaceful retreat, the Isle of Wight truly has something for everyone.”
I don’t think I will visit the other islands if this island was voted in,with derelict buildings, crack addicts and chavs causing trouble everywhere ,not much in the way off tourism now compared to 10 years ago, litter everywhere
