The Isle of Wight Farming Conference is set to return on 12th February, with the Island’s farming community invited to gather at Barton Manor in East Cowes for a day of practical insight and discussion.
Organised by Wight Rural Hub, the event is aimed at farmers, land managers and others involved in the agricultural sector. It offers honest discussion, peer-to-peer learning and a focus on the realities of farming on the Isle of Wight.
This year’s conference will centre on 3 core themes affecting farm businesses:
- Technology – making innovation work in practice
- Team – maximising people, advice and collaboration
- Resilience – business, personal and physical strength
A range of speakers have been confirmed, including Willy’s Apple Cider Vinegar, LandApp, Claas, Barfoots, local Isle of Wight farmers, Andersons and the Farming Community Network. Attendees will hear practical examples and ideas that can be applied directly to Island farming businesses.
The event is supported by returning headline sponsors Isle of Wight National Landscape, Moore Barlow and Southern Water, alongside other panel sponsors and exhibitors.
The conference also supports the work of Natural Enterprise’s Wight Rural Hub – an independent charity providing year-round support, events and signposting for the agricultural community.
Tickets are priced at £15 and include lunch and refreshments. Spaces are limited and early booking is recommended via www.wightruralhub.co.uk/events/isle-of-wight-farming-conference-2026.
The 2026 conference runs from 09:00-15:15 at Barton Manor, Whippingham.
