The Isle of Wight College is standing firmly alongside the local community in the wake of recent flooding, offering a range of support services to those affected across the Isle of Wight.
They are committed to providing the following assistance to the public:
- Food Parcels: The college’s dedicated staff and students are preparing food parcels for distribution. Please book your essential deliveries for Saturdays and Sundays.
- Laundry Facilities: Free use of the college washing machines and dryers can be booked on Wednesdays and Thursdays between 17:00 and 20:30. Booking is essential.
- Hot Showers: Hot showers, are available on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 17:00 to 20:30. Booking is essential.
- Connectivity and Comfort: Free Wi-Fi and a warm cup of tea or coffee are available on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 17:00 to 20:30. Booking is essential.
To access any of these support packages, call 01983 526631 (Option 0) this week between 14:00 and 17:00 from Tuesday to Thursday.
Why isn’t the council giving more help to people, well done to the college for doing this, the council are really showing what a bunch of low lifes they are by not even given a s**t about local people. Jordan and Co. should be investigated as to the lack of REAL help they are giving.
