The partnership with Island Echo will see the publication of all press releases on a dedicated ‘Hampshire FA’ category right here at www.islandecho.co.uk. In addition, a graphical banner link will be soon featured at the top of the main Sport category to help promote the Hampshire FA and local clubs.
Further support will of course be offered through Island Echo’s popular social media networks, encouraging traffic and social engagement on all stories.
As for clubs and leagues, the media partnership will support stories sent in by Hampshire FA members. Clubs and leagues are invited to send in their stories from the Island directly to [email protected], including an image if possible.
Darren Toogood, Editor of Island Echo says:
“When the opportunity came up to not only help support Hampshire FA but local clubs and leagues as well, we didn’t think twice. We are keen to increase our sport coverage on the Isle of Wight and this new partnership will help with that.
“We look forward to publishing more stories and reports from Island football clubs in the coming months”.
Isabella Sakias, Business Support Officer at Hampshire FA added:
“I am delighted to announce yet another media partner that shows their willingness to support us and our members, growing the grassroots game in Hampshire.
“The media partnership package was formed to create stronger bonds with the media, showing our loyalty in return to support those who are offering to support us with regular coverage. Our grassroots media heroes are helping us reach and connect with more people, we’re making our news reach as many channels as far and as wide as possible and it’s all because of them”.
