Teenage thrower Reggie Woodmore has made Isle of Wight darts history by becoming the Island’s first-ever qualifier for the prestigious Winmau Junior World Masters.
Reggie secured his place after a phenomenal run in Season 5 of the JDC Challenge, where he showcased consistency, composure and class. Competing in seven of the eight rounds, his impressive performances saw him finish at the top of the leaderboard, earning a coveted qualification spot for the global finals.
He faced strong competition throughout the season, with Mitchell Hunt and Riley Rich pushing him all the way, but Reggie’s determination and high-scoring finishes ensured he held his position at the summit when it mattered most.
The Winmau Junior World Masters Finals Day will take place on 31st January 2026, bringing together the world’s best young darts talents for one of the sport’s most exciting youth events. For Reggie, the invitation marks a major milestone – both personally and for Isle of Wight darts – as he prepares to represent the Island on the international stage.
Reggie’s success is the latest in a growing wave of young darts talent emerging from the Isle of Wight, with the local darts community continuing to nurture and support junior players through development leagues and youth coaching initiatives.
