Hovertravel has suspended its Ryde-Southsea service this morning (Thursday) as both of its Flyer craft are not operational.
A technical issue with Island Flyer has resulted in the cancellation of vital morning commuter services for both workers and school children.
Solent Flyer is also out of action.
Hovertravel say the next update will be at 08:45, but this is no guarantee that services will resume at that time.
Tickets are accepted on Wightlink’s Fastcat service between Ryde Pier Head and Portsmouth Harbour.
It’s not a good morning for cross-Solent travel with 4 vehicle ferry sailings cancelled on Red Funnel’s East Cowes to Southampton route.
UPDATE @ 10:36 – Hovertravel has confirmed that services will resume at 11:15 from Ryde and 11:30 from Southsea.
