There were plenty of tricks, treats and laughter at Inglefield Nursing & Residential Home in Totland as residents and staff came together for an afternoon of Halloween celebrations.
The care home was filled with music, smiles and a little Halloween mischief as residents enjoyed party games, delicious food and plenty of fun.
One of the highlights of the afternoon was a special twist on the traditional Halloween game of apple bobbing, which proved a big hit with residents and sparked plenty of laughter.
The celebrations continued with festive music and a selection of Halloween treats, freshly prepared by the home’s kitchen team.
Staff also joined in the fun, helping to create a lively party atmosphere and ensuring that everyone could take part in the celebrations.
Charlotte, Home Manager at Inglefield Nursing & Residential Home, has said:
“We had such a lovely afternoon celebrating Halloween with our residents. There was so much laughter, especially during our version of apple bobbing, and it was wonderful to see everyone having such a good time.
“Our kitchen team did a fantastic job preparing all the delicious party food, and our staff really went above and beyond to make the afternoon memorable.
“It’s these lovely moments, when everyone comes together to have fun and enjoy each other’s company, that make life at Inglefield so special.”
