Hovertravel helped out sister company Skybreak’s Your Service Centre at Gatwick Airport with an extra special day trip for St Barnabas House Hospice in Worthing, West Sussex.
The group met at Southsea for the ten minute hovercraft journey to Ryde and were transported from Ryde to Osborne House, Queen Victoria’s former holiday home on an open-top double decker bus from Southern Vectis. They had an opportunity to wander around the extensive grounds and house of the English Heritage site before returning via Hovertravel.
Neil Francis, Community Fundraising Manager at St Barnabas House Hospice, said:
“The group had a fantastic day. Thank you so much from us all here for your support and kindness. They felt extremely welcome and looked after throughout”.
Skybreak was able to arrange this trip thanks to the generosity of Hovertravel and Southern Vectis.
