Hovertravel has been forced to suspend its cross-Solent service this morning (Wednesday) due to the adverse weather conditions.
Strong winds on the Solent mean that the hovers are unable to operate between Ryde and Southsea.
It’s been confirmed that Hovertravel tickets will be accepted on Wightlink’s Fastcat service.
The next update is expected at 11:45, suggesting the hovers will remain suspended for the rest of the morning.

Just been reading a page from Wightlink’s saying bikes fly free , wtf is the terminology they use as bike or hovercrafts don’t fly it’s a pathetic hype of words .
