A hole that appeared on the walkway at Ryde Marina towards the end of last week (31st May) has been repaired, Ryde Town Council has confirmed. The rather large hole in the footway first appeared on Friday afternoon with concerned members of the public quickly alerting staff at Ryde Marina. One Island Echo reader said that her children almost fell into the hole as they took a walk during the May half-term, with no signage in place to warn people of the impending danger. A large cable reel was used to block the hole over the weekend before a repair was carried out on Monday afternoon.

Still reely dangerous as with no warning sign anyone like a poor ADHD person, moving the reel would fall down the hole.
