Firefighters from Ryde and Shanklin are tackling a garage fire in Sandown this afternoon (Tuesday).
The Isle of Wight Fire and rescue service were called out at around 13:10 following reports of a fire developing in the garage off Fort Mews.
2 appliances are currently on scene and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are tackling the small blaze.
UPDATE – The fire has been extinguished using hose reels.
No one has been injured and some of the contents has been saved.
