Do you want to understand more about EV charging and how that could benefit your tourism or hospitality business? Island-based specialist business, EV Express, is running a free to attend information session in Ryde later this month.
This session, tailored for the tourism and hospitality sectors, will explain why there is a need to be EV ready, how EV charging works as an income stream, plus current and future grant funding opportunities.
Currently, some businesses can claim £350 per charge point installed and that will be expanded on 1st April 2022 to other self-catering and B&B sectors.
At the event, which is being held at the Westridge Centre on Tuesday 23rd November between 15:00-16:00, you could learn how EV charging works with other renewables you may already have within your business, such as solar panels, or are now wanting to understand more fully.
There will also be an opportunity to view a range of different charge point types and ask the EV Express technical team any questions.
David Thornton, Managing Director, says:
“We are delighted to create an event that will help Island tourism and hospitality businesses to get straight forward answers to lots of topical questions around EV charging.”
Complimentary tea, coffee and cake will be provided.

Is that our very own loser Dave Stewart grinning away…. He didn’t get a mention in the article, I wonder why, I guess not many people might know him on sight, if he is involved probably best to steer clear.
MUST BE ON A RETAINER
Constable Stewart and David Thornton, what could possibly go wrong?
