Police have seized knives and suspected Class A and B drugs during an early morning warrant excecution in Newport this morning (Thursday).
Officers from the Isle of Wight Neighbourhood Policing Teams, supported by officers from the mainland, carried out a warrant on Albany Road, Newport, at around 08:00.
The road was closed at both ends, as officers swarmed the address, understood to be home to many dogs.
Following a thorough search of the property, officers seized a small quantity of suspected Class A and B drugs, a number of knives, and mobile devices from the property.
No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
