If you’re involved in business on the Isle of Wight, don’t miss the opportunity to network with more than 60 exhibiting businesses and many more attendees at Expo 2023 at Ryde School tomorrow (Wednesday).
Organised by the Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by WightFibre, Expo is the biggest single day for the Island’s business community, long established as the Chamber’s flagship event for B2B engagement.
You don’t have to be a Chamber member, there’s no admission fee, you can stay for as long as you want and you don’t have to register in advance (although it’s helpful if you do). The event is running from 10:00 to 16:00.
There’s no other day like it for top business networking. It’s a huge opportunity and a high value, massively convenient way to meet and engage with a wide range of Island businesses, including WightFibre, PC Consultants, Fortis Energy, Ryde Town Council, JR Zone, HTP Apprenticeship College, Southern Vectis, Wight Computers and many more.
Steven Holbrook, IW Chamber Chief Executive, says:
“We’re very excited to be at Ryde School, making the most of the opportunities presented by our new venue. Expo will have a different buzz this year, encouraging longer dwell time and a more inclusive networking experience for everyone.
“We’re very grateful to Ryde School for being so helpful and accommodating as our host venue. It’s exciting to be in Ryde town for the 1st time and we hope this will encourage new footfall. We’ve also moved Expo to the summer, where the weather should be better and brighter.
“Expo is a huge opportunity to meet new customers and clients and promote your products and services. It’s also a collective show of strength for the business community. We want to see as many people as possible at Expo on Wednesday. Please help us to make Expo bigger by spreading the word.
“Please help us, our exhibitors and yourself by encouraging as many of your contacts and colleagues to attend. If you’re exhibiting or attending Expo, do please use your own social media and newsletters to share the event to as wide an audience as possible. Expo really is for everyone. It’s free, and open to all. Let’s all share that message.”
Visitor parking for Expo is in nearby Isle of Wight Council car parks, just a short stroll from the venue.
Steven explains:
“The extra parking capacity nearby is another benefit of our new venue. There is ample parking in Ryde on Lind Street, Garfield Road and Victoria Street, just a quick walk from Ryde School. You could even get the bus and make the most of the current £2 single fare offer. Parking really isn’t an issue as there are plenty of spaces within walking distance.”
John Irvine, from sponsor’s WightFibre, has said:
“The Chamber’s B2B expo is, quite rightly, one of the highlights of the Island’s business calendar. In these difficult economic times it is even more important for Island businesses to come together to look at how we can support each other. WightFibre is proud to sponsor the Expo once again. Best wishes to the other sponsors, exhibitors and attendees for a successful event.”
