UPDATED: The Cowes Floating Bridge will be out of service from 09:30 tomorrow (Tuesday), warn the Isle of Wight Council.
The link between East Cowes and West Cowes will be suspended to allow repairs to be carried out, however it is hoped that the service will be operational once again from mid-afternoon.
A pedestrian shuttle service will be in operation for the normal 40p return fare.
UPDATE @ 11:57 – The Cowes floating bridge has now resumed a normal service following completion of maintainance works.
