Wightlink’s Portsmouth to Fishbourne vehicle ferry service is to encounter some overnight disruption on 3 days next week.
The cross-Solent operator announced that on Monday 20th, Wednesday 22nd and Thursday 23rd of March essential maintenance is being undertaken on the fenders and berth at the Fishbourne terminal.
As a result, a revised timetable will be in operation overnight on all 3 days.
The main change is the overnight vehicle ferry from Portsmouth – Fishbourne that leaves at 03:45 has been cancelled meaning goods that are brought over to the Island on that sailing, including papers and other publications as well as other goods, will be most likely be delayed in hitting the shelves.
There will however be extra FastCat sailing at 04:15 from Portsmouth Harbour and at 04:45 from Ryde Pier Head on all 3 days.
A spokesperson from Wightlink has said:
“We apologise for any changes to your travel plans”
