Firefighters from Newport and Freshwater are attending a rural address in Brook tonight (Friday) after a small electrical fire broke out a short time ago.
2 appliances were mobilised to Dunsbury Farm Lane at around 19:20 and both crews remain on scene having isolated the consumer unit.
No one is thought to have been injured.
UPDATE – The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service has now stood down from the incident having made the scene safe. The homeowner has been advised to seek an electrician.
