Dover Park Primary School recently celebrated harvest time with a special whole school assembly and a collection of food items for Aspire.
The children in Year 1 have been doing lots of work around harvest as part of their Religious Education work and some of them helped to deliver all of the generous donations.
Michelle Cooper, RE lead at Dover Park, has said:
“As a school, we like to support our local community as much as possible. The whole school community were very supportive sending in packets and tins of food that will be used to feed people in the Ryde community.
“The year one children were very excited to hand over all the food items to Rachel who works at Aspire”.
