Motorists are facing delays heading in and out of Newport tonight (Thursday) as a result of a road traffic collision involving a cyclist.
The incident has occurred on Fairlee Road at Binfield, close to the HP house.
According to multiple Island Echo readers, the crash has involved an ASDA delivery van and a cyclist, who is being tended to by paramedics from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service.
Traffic is reported to be heavy and at a standstill in the area but the road remains open at this time.
