Police and paramedics are attending a road traffic collision in the West Wight this evening (Tuesday), which has resulted in the closure of a road.
The incident has occurred on Thorley Road on the outskirts of Yarmouth, near Wellow.
Several emergency services crews are on scene having been alerted to the crash shortly before 18:50.
The road has been closed in both directions and is expected to remain closed for the next hour to allow for the recovery of the vehicles involved.
Southern Vectis say their Route 7 buses are unable to serve Thorley and Wellow at this time. Buses will divert via Cranmore to Station Road and Newbridge.
UPDATE – The road has now re-opened.
