A crash is causing delays for motorists travelling to and from Sandown through Apse Heath and Hale Common this afternoon (Thursday).
2 vehicles are thought to be involved in the incident on the A3056 at Branstone, close to the House of Chilli.
Police are on scene managing the incident.
No one is thought to be trapped or seriously injured.
Traffic is building in the area so motorists should allow extra time for their journey home this evening.
UPDATE @ 17:04 – Hampshire Constabulary have confirmed that a Peugeot 106 and a Vauxhall Astra have been involved in the collision.
Police were alerted to the incident at 16:25.
No one has been injured.
