A technical issue with Red Jet 4 has forced the cancellation of a number of commuter sailings to and from West Cowes this morning (Tuesday).
The 06:05, 07:15 and 08:25 hi speed sailings from Southampton have been cancelled alongside the 06:40, 07:50 and 09:00 sailings from West Cowes.
This is due to a fault located within the water jet housing on Red Jet 4.
Red Funnel apologises for the inconvenience caused to your journey.
Oh right, you mean it isn’t full so you cancelled it.
No thought for people meeting deadlines like Hospital appointments, treatments, work, other connections.
…and/or they don’t have enough staff to run a service. Ah, sorry, it’s not a service is it, it’s a commercial business.
This is ‘ normal service ‘, if they really needed the money the service would be running, passengers are just a pain in the backside, stopping the service running 9-5 seven days a week.
