Isle of Wight trials rider Chris Stay put the disappointment of only finishing 6th at the second round of the British Trials Championships in Wales last month behind him, by regaining the lead in the championship with 2 brilliant wins in Rounds 3 & 4 which were held just north of Newcastle last weekend.

With Round 3 being held on the Saturday and Round 4 on Sunday, the team had to battle north through the Friday traffic to reach the venue some 360 miles north of Portsmouth.

After 2 weeks training both on the bike and in the gym, Chris bounced back with 2 amazing rides to regain the championship lead by a clear 8 points.

The next round will take place on 16th June on the edge of Dartmoor, where Chris will be hoping to extend his lead in the championship before the summer break.
