A debut at the Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix looms large for the Isle of Wight’s own motorcycle road racer, Ryan Whitehall.
10th in this year’s Senior Manx Grand Prix, held on the prestigious Isle of Man TT circuit, and 3rd earlier in the year within the feature Grand Final race at Cookstown, Northern Ireland, Whitehall stated that it’s a dream come true to be taking to the Guia Circuit. Racing on a 1000cc R1 Yamaha, he is supported by a number of local island benefactors.
It’s been a good year for Ryan, having also competed in the high profile North West 200 meeting on Ireland’s causeway coast in May.
A superb effort on a shoestring budget and valuable experience as he gets closer to the podium under the WR racing banner.
The world-famous street-race in Guia returns in just under 1 month’s time, running from the 14th-17th of November.
WR racing is looking for a title sponsor. Anyone interested should contact Rod Warne 07970 009725.
