Strings Bar & Venue has announced a rare and extraordinary night of music featuring Chicane, the globally acclaimed pioneer of Trance music, next February.
Known for crafting some of the most iconic sounds of the genre, the show on Saturday 1st February 2025 will offer a unique chance to experience the magic of his timeless tracks.
Often hailed as one of the seminal originators of Trance, Chicane’s influence is unrivalled. With Offshore, he redefined the sound of dance music, creating an atmosphere of serenity that became synonymous with the sunsets of Ibiza. Following this, Saltwater soared to the UK Top 5, solidifying Chicane’s place as a master of electronic cool.
His groundbreaking collaboration with Bryan Adams on Don’t Give Up, from the chart-topping album Behind the Sun, marked one of the first dance music tracks to achieve mainstream global success – a true dancefloor classic.
This is the first announcement from Strings Bar & Venue about Independent Venue Week; the UK’s annual 7-day celebration of independent music and arts venues. The concept of IVW encourages artists, audiences and the wider music business to recognise the vital role these independently-owned venues play in the industry and local community across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
